Registration coming soon for summer 2027!

Camp Dates: June 14 - August 27, 2027
One-week and two-week sessions to fill your best summer yet!
Performance titles will be announced in November.

Our Minis program returns for rising kindergarten campers, building the foundation of theatre education using early childhood educational practices and tools of ensemble storytelling. Known as the Players, our 1st-3rd graders will embark on bold quests each week inspired by a different fantastic tale. The Company brings Broadway titles center stage for rising 4th-8th graders with exciting opportunities to embody beloved characters in thrilling musicals. For our rising 9th-12th graders, we continue to offer two options - Counselor in Training(CIT) and Troupe programs. Troupe campers will step into the spotlight in a staged reading of a musical, diving into exciting material each evening.

Educational Content:

• Build a foundation in performance skills

• Singing, acting, and dancing in beloved stories

• Explore the power of music education

In these one-week sessions, our youngest campers will learn songs and dances in a loosely scripted adaptation of a beloved tale, all while participating in arts and crafts and other activities. Minis is a perfect program for all campers who want to experience the magic of theatre!

Wolf PAC Summer Theatre Camp is offering an opportunity exclusively for our rising ninth through twelfth graders to mount a staged reading of a contemporary musical. Working with a professional Director, this tight-knit Troupe will rehearse in the evenings for three weeks to craft an actor-driven performance at the program’s end. Minimal technical elements allow this ensemble to focus on the material and bring their unique personalities to exciting titles that energize our older, more adventurous performers.

Musical will be announced soon. Dates below are confirmed for 2027.

Educational Content:

• Collaborate with professional directors on productions

• Learn key strategies for classroom management and leading theatrical activities

• Contribute to daily flow of camp activity

This tuition-free volunteer opportunity allows rising ninth through twelfth graders to hone offstage skills as a Counselor in Training (CIT), lending leadership and mentorship to younger campers. Our CITs assist with all aspects of the camp day, including tending to camper needs, assisting with rehearsals, leading warm-ups and games, helping with some Stage Management roles and more! CITs have the chance to chat with our camp leadership staff to discuss their interests so they can properly match with the group that works best for all.

Our teachers have performed and worked on stages in New York and Philadelphia, including the Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre, Wilma Theatre, People’s Light and Theatre Company, Theatre Horizon, Media Theatre, and more. Our professional directors and teachers bring a wide range of skills from stage combat to Shakespeare to puppetry and beyond.

  • We have a variety of activities that build community over the course of your time at Wolf PAC Summer Theatre Camp! Our performances emphasize a “process over product” philosophy, prioritizing working as an ensemble to achieve fun, energetic productions rather than striving for absolute perfection at every turn. This emphasis on community allows our performers to work together in a supportive, collaborative environment that always results in a fabulous performance! Additionally, our ArtsLabs courses allow campers to collaborate with other campers with whom they do not interact too frequently during rehearsals. As in years past, we also begin each day together with a full camp warm-up to kick off the fun. Returning this year are our camp-wide activities that allow campers to mix and mingle with cast members from the other productions!

Those who choose to walk up will enter via the Lancaster Avenue entrance, park in the lower lot, and follow signs to the back door of the Wolf PAC main building. This is a great option for families who need to make it to work or drop off other children at other locations!

  • Yes and no! We do not hold auditions for participation in our summer programs. As long as there is availability within a session, all families are welcome to register. Once campers arrive, we have a day of low stakes auditions in order to help our directing teams figure out the best way to feature each camper’s unique talents. They are a great opportunity for campers to share their gifts and talents so that our directors can assign roles that will allow everyone to shine and have a special moment of their own to be proud of by the end of their session. Everyone who registers is guaranteed a role in whatever show applies to their age group and session.

  • Yes! Campers are asked to bring their own lunch and two snacks each day to camp. Wolf PAC is a nut-free environment, so all food coming into camp cannot contain nuts of any kind. We also ask that food needing refrigeration is packed with an ice pack from home since we do not offer refrigeration for campers’ lunches.

  • We are fortunate to have access to several outdoor spaces during the camp day. We will begin each day outdoors in a camp-wide warm up to soak up the sun before a busy day of rehearsals and activities. Throughout the day, campers will eat snack and lunch together outdoors each day (weather permitting). Afternoon breaks and free play time will be outside for the Company, Minis & Players, respectively. To add to the outdoor fun, we offer a Friday Field Day on the second Friday of each two-week session (weather permitting), where campers will participate in classic games like three-legged races, tug of war, and more!

  • Our camper to counselor ratio varies depending on the age group. Minis have a max of 15 with a Director and Minis Intern, Players have a max of 16 each week with a Director and Assistant Director. The Company have a maximum of 36 per cast, with a professional Director, Music Director, and Choreographer in each group. The Troupe has a maximum of 10 artists to one professional Director.

  • Wolf PAC offers two programs for high school students (rising 9th-12th grade): the Troupe and the CIT program. Our Troupe features a three-week session where performers produce what is called a staged reading of a musical. In a staged reading, performers stand primarily at music stands and deliver material from scripts, allowing the focus to be on the performance rather than memorization during a short period of time. This brings the acting to the forefront, alongside some cleverly staged moments to add some more excitement to the presentation.

Additionally, our high school students are encouraged to join our Counselor in Training (CIT) program. During these two-week sessions, CITs work closely with our professional directing teams to learn classroom management and directing techniques, enhancing their theatrical experience with knowledge of what it takes to be a teaching artist. While helping to facilitate day-to-day activities within the camp, CITs also determine a “CIT Major” (direction, musical direction, choreography, or tech) with specific tasks assigned to each major that allow participants to take ownership of a portion of the show with the guidance of our professional directing teams.

  • No! If a camper attends multiple sessions, we ensure that they are in different shows. It is important to us that a returning camper will have a diverse theatrical experience over the course of their summer with us.

  • We are happy to offer the following discounts:

  • We are incredibly grateful for every family’s interest in our programs. When our sessions reach capacity, you have the option to join the waitlist. There is no cost to join and here is how it works:

    • When a spot becomes available, you will receive an email from our registration system offering you the opportunity to accept or decline the opening.

    • You will have 48 hours from the time the email is sent to complete your registration.

      • As of June 5, it will change to 24 hours.

    • If the 24-hour window passes, the system will only allow us to place your family back at the bottom of the waitlist.

Please make sure emails from Active.com are not sent to your spam or junk folder so you don’t miss your opportunity.
