How it works: In the first two weeks of performance rehearsals, participants will audition with a group scene and one of two choices of an audition song. While everyone will be cast, the audition workshop grants these young participants the opportunity to explore the material before their audition, receiving individualized feedback from our professional teaching artists.

How it works: The audition process for 5th and 6th grade performers takes place over the course of the first two weeks of the program, consisting of reading scenes, singing audition cuts, and dancing choreography from the show. In this audition workshop, participants will have the chance to prepare the material before the audition days with guidance and feedback from our professional teaching artists. Performers will be able to choose one of two audition songs and work on the group audition scene, learning to make exciting choices and improve their performance ahead of the audition!

How it works: Workshop participants will prepare a monologue and/or song selection to be used at their upcoming audition. The workshop will enable performers to explore the material with feedback from our professional teaching artists. Individualized feedback will encourage participants to make the kinds of exciting choices that make a great impression in the audition room.

Our workshops are designed to help participants prepare for upcoming auditions. We offer Audition Workshops each season for our 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th, and 7th-12th grade performances at Wolf PAC. Additionally, we offer College and Self-Tape Audition Sessions for those looking to rent space and equipment to film auditions for college submissions or other audition opportunities.

Our Audition Workshops will feature audition material from our performance season. If participants are interested in working on separate material for school or other shows, please reach out to our Programs Director, Laura Barron, at laura@wolfperformingartscenter.org to schedule a private Audition Prep lesson with one of our instructors.
