Allie Steele

Teaching Artist

Allie has served as teaching artist, facilitator, information officer, and administrator for various programs. In her twelve years at Delaware Theatre Co. as Assoc. Director of Education, she taught curriculum-enhancing theatre activities at area elementary schools; facilitated & taught the Playwriting for Seniors program at centers in Wilmington, West Chester, and Rehoboth Beach; led musical theatre audition workshops in the Stage 2 Summer Studio; and wrote for, directed, and acted alongside the Totally Awesome Players troupes. Most recently, she’s also served as the Education Associate for the StageBright Theatre Program; taught students pre-K-4 at Booker T. Washington Elementary in Dover; and taught/directed a group at Wilmington Friends School in their devised play – “The Witch of Candy Land.” Love to Mike & Violet.
