BEST CAMP! BEST SHOWS! BEST STAFF!

An Exciting Welcome to
Summer Theatre Camp 2024

-from Will Connell, Camp & Special Projects Director!

There’s a saying in theatre that “early is on time, and on time is late.” Well, at Wolf PAC, we subscribe to that same philosophy…so Camp 2024 prep is in full swing! Show titles have been secured, scripts are being written, and camp 2024 will be here before we all know it. We have cooked up a high octane season of shows and programming that will have audiences dancing in their seats and fighting the urge to jump onstage to sing along. The shows will take campers and audiences on a wild ride through so many styles, genres, and mediums that make the arts the incomparable learning ground they are.

  • CUBS will tell ten unique twists on beloved fairy tales, taking audiences from the kingdom of the Giant to Rapunzel’s tower and beyond…all while singing and dancing their hearts out!

  • PAC will stage not one, not two, but three different productions each session, running the gamut of Broadway hits from Golden Age classics all the way through modern jukebox smashes.

  • Summer Studio artists will continue to push their artistic boundaries in varied disciplines such as standup comedy, voiceover, and more—plus the return of the ever-popular Shakespeare and Stage Combat.

  • CITs will return to their invaluable positions in rehearsals, training to become the next generation of the directors and teaching artists that make the Wolf PAC world go ‘round!

And of course, we would be nowhere without our professional staff of teaching artists and directors. Each year, I am floored and honored to collaborate with the talented folks who choose to share their skills and passion with our young artists at camp. New faces and returning favorites will guide the campers through rehearsals, workshops, and performances, all while encouraging the confidence and self-expression you have come to count on from the Wolf PAC staff.

While our lineup will be challenging and exciting, I find that it is the process, not the product, that defines the Wolf PAC experience. The performance is one hour of one day out of the ten-day camp session; the rehearsals and electives fill so much more time. And in those moments come the camaraderie, growth, and joy that transform a cast of campers into a family of performers. The laughs they share at lunch, the goofs and mishaps as they learn an opening number—those are the magical moments that make Wolf PAC camp truly singular.

Now all we need is the last piece of the puzzle…you! We can’t wait to see you all in a few short months for a summer of joy, community, and theatre magic.
