Artist in Residence FAQs

  • We offer this program to all school-aged children from preschool through high school.

  • We offer four different kinds of residencies: During School, After School, Performance Residency, and Workshop Residency. Please click here for details on each program!

  • Each residency varies in cost based on the duration of the program. We will run a budget unique to each residency and send preliminary numbers to the host school for review. We factor in salary for our Teaching Artists, travel, supplies, production rights (for a full performance), and overhead fees to determine the cost of a program.

  • We do our best to follow a 12 to 1 student to teacher ratio. If the residency supports a large group of students, we will send two Teaching Artists to the host school. We will always discuss what is best for each residency in order to ensure a successful, balanced program for all involved.

  • Our residency programs are for schools who are looking for a drama program or already have one that Wolf PAC can enhance. The benefits of the dramatic arts are plentiful; critical thinking, ensemble-building, creativity, building confidence and more! An Artist in Residence program can supplement existing curriculum during the school day or offer an after-school production where our professional Teaching Artists lead students from rehearsals to opening night of a show. Wherever a host school sees fit, the dramatic arts are beneficial to all children.
