Anna Sorrentino is a costume designer from Philadelphia, PA. She is set to her earn her MA in Theatre at Villanova University in May 2021. At Villanova, Anna completed her thesis in costume design on The Bakkhai Variations, a fully-produced virtual new play festival featuring contemporary interpretations of the Bacchae. She is a recent graduate of Elizabethtown College, where she was costume designer for The Cripple of Inishmaan and props designer for Rats’ Tales. In addition to designing costumes, Anna also works in dramaturgy, stage management, and performance. Around the city, Anna has worked with Inis Nua Theatre Company, Quintessence Theatre Group, and Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company, among others. She was recently named a Costume Design Fellow for Hangar Theatre Company in Ithaca, NY, where she will be designing 4 productions this summer. She is thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with the wonderful creative minds at Wolf Performing Arts Center.
