Dorothy Cardella

Teaching Artist

Dorothy Cardella is a singer/actor who has performed extensively in Opera, Operetta and Musical Theatre throughout the United States and abroad.  Companies she has performed with include Lake George Opera, Berkshire Opera, Sarasota Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Opera Theatre, Four Corners Opera, Opera Delaware, Rome Festival Opera, Concert Operetta, Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, Bristol Riverside Theatre and Media Theatre.  Having been a member of the Philadelphia Singers’ Chorale, Dorothy is a soloist at two churches in the Philadelphia area, and performs regularly in concert venues, having made solo debuts at Carnegie Hall and with The Philadelphia Orchestra at the Mann Music Center.  She is Co-Founder of Touch of Classics! Vocal Entertainment. In addition to teaching voice, Dorothy teaches piano and has stage directed and choreographed numerous Philadelphia area musical productions.  She is delighted to be part of the creative team at Wolf Performing Arts Center!
