Bobbi was an educator in Lower Merion School District for 20 years, taught Gifted and Talented students, and created an after-school theatre program which changed the impact of theatre in middle schools. Her productions at Bala Cynwyd Middle School were widely acclaimed, and she received several "Best Director" awards at theatre competitions. Bobbi has been the recipient of numerous awards for her dedication to educational theatre and community service. She received the President's Award from Montgomery County Association for Retarded Citizens, the Award of Appreciation from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Friend of Education Award from the Lower Merion Education Association, and a Senatorial Commendation from the Pennsylvania Council for the Arts.
