Wolf PAC is looking for directors, designers, and teaching artists for our 2022 winter/spring season, as well as summer camp. Positions needed are below.

Visiting Artist Teachers

Seeking teaching artists for after school elective programs.  Looking to fill the teaching artist positions below:

A 2nd-5th grade class called "All About Acting" meeting weekly on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm for 9 weeks from March 23-May 26 at a school in Havertown, PA.  This class focuses on the main principles of acting, ensemble work, monologues, scene work, and improv.

 
Teachers are provided with an overarching curriculum guide but are responsible for weekly lesson plans and check-ins with the Programs Director. Looking for candidates who is well versed in teaching acting to children through ensemble activities, character building, open scene work, improvisation, and imaginative play.  
 
Pay is $36 an hour plus a travel stipend.

Vocal Private Lesson Teacher

Seeking private lesson teachers able to work with students of all grade levels (1st-12th) on voice and vocal technique. Instructors must have experience teaching grade level students and be able to employ acting through song technique in lessons. Instructors teach a variety of musical styles with an emphasis on musical theatre.

 

Lessons occur weekly on a rolling basis year round Monday through Friday from 3pm-8:30pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Instructor schedules can be flexible based on availability. Greatest schedule needs right now are Thursdays through Saturdays. Lessons are offered both on-site at our Bryn Mawr, PA location and on zoom, however instructors must be able to be on-site (no online only instructors at this time).

 

Pay is $36 an hour calculated by the number of hours scheduled.

Multi-Disciplined Private Lesson Teacher

Seeking 1-2 private lesson teachers able to work with students of all grade levels (1st-12th). Specifically looking for someone who can teach both piano and guitar/ukulele or a combination of one of those disciplines(piano, guitar, ukulele) and at least one other discipline, such as voice, acting, audition technique, musical theatre, etc. Lessons happen weekly and schedules can be flexible based on teacher availability. Pay is $36 an hour calculated by the number of hours scheduled.

Directors for High School-Aged Summer Programming (Summer Studio)

Seeking multi-talented artists to direct 9th-12th grade summer camp programming, our Summer Studio. Two-week sessions through the summer will focus on the following disciplines: Contemporary Drama (Staged Reading), Cabaret, Shakespeare & Stage Combat, and Sondheim (Staged Reading). Especially seeking artists with stage combat experience and directors with accompaniment ability. Directors will also lead several workshops on topics of their choice (i.e. Clown, Mask, Movement, etc.) to be determined with the Camp Director. Payment is $500 per week.

CUBS Directors for Summer Camp Programming

Seeking teaching artists for rising K-2nd grade summer camp. One-week sessions throughout the summer culminate in a performance of an original adaptation of a famous story featuring 2-3 songs and dances. Camp day also includes arts and crafts (mostly led by Assistant), games, rest time, and more. Musician skills are a plus but necessary, comfort with basic singing a must (CUBS directors teach songs in call and response style). Payment is $500 per week.

CUBS Assistants for Summer Camp Programming

Seeking teaching artists for rising K-2nd grade summer camp. One-week sessions throughout the summer culminate in a performance of an original adaptation of a famous story featuring 2-3 songs and dances. Assistant is responsible for arts and crafts, as well as playing games with campers and supporting the Director in rehearsals. Singing and/or music skills are a plus, but not necessary. Great opportunity for college students or recent graduates looking for experience in theatre education. Payment is $420 per week.
