We applaud our volunteers!

Each year over 100 volunteers at Wolf Performing Arts Center make our programs possible! Volunteering is a great way for families to get involved in the theatre process, meet new people, and maybe learn a new skill! Our volunteers have a wonderful time working in all aspects of theater arts programs and performances.

This spring we have four volunteer committees.

1.       Hospitality

2.       Costumes

3.       Scenery

4. Marketing and Publicity

Hospitality Committee:

The Hospitality Committee is responsible for all things that take place in the lobby related to our Spring Productions. Lobby stations include: concessions (making baked goods and/or selling them at the shows), ushering (helping patrons find their seats), and candygrams (selling notes of encouragement and candy for the cast).

Costume Committee:

The costume committee helps backstage before, during, and/or after the performances. This includes helping our performers with hair and make-up, helping in the dressing rooms, helping with quick changes back stage, etc.

Scenic Committee:

Scenic committee helps to build and paint our sets. From set construction day to personal building projects to loading into the theatre through the tear down after the show closes, our volunteers help make the theatre magic come alive!

Marketing and Publicity:

Marketing committee helps to spread the word about the performances, because nothing feels better than a sold out audience! Committee members hang posters in their neighborhood, hand out postcards, and/or ask favorite local businesses to advertise in our spring program.

No prior experience necessary. Feel free to sign up for more than one committee!

Year Round Volunteering!

Volunteers are not just for shows! Wolf Performing Arts Center can use your help year round labeling mailings, serving on committees for fundraisers, etc. If you’re interested in volunteering at any point during the year contact tim@wolfperformingartscenter.org.
